We are looking for a dedicated Community Midwife to join an NHS maternity team in the United Kingdom. This permanent Band 6 role involves providing continuity of care to women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period within a community setting.
What you'll do
Provide antenatal and postnatal care to women in their homes and community clinics. Conduct booking appointments, anomaly screening coordination, and birth planning. Support women through labour and delivery where required. Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate maternity records in line with trust policies.
What we're looking for
Requirements: Registered Midwife with current NMC PIN. Minimum 1 year post-qualification midwifery experience. Community midwifery experience advantageous. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle required. Excellent communication and compassionate care skills.
