An exciting locum opportunity has arisen for an experienced A&E Consultant to join a major emergency department in the United Kingdom. You will play a key role in leading the clinical team, managing high acuity patients, and maintaining standards of emergency care.
What you'll do
Lead and manage emergency care for a broad range of acute and critically ill patients. Supervise and support SHOs, registrars, and nursing staff. Ensure timely assessment, treatment, and safe discharge or admission of patients. Participate in clinical governance, audit, and risk management. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
What we're looking for
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise. CCT in Emergency Medicine or equivalent. Proven experience in a UK A&E department at consultant level. ALS certification required. Excellent decision-making skills under pressure.
